Most consist of credit hours and can be found in the Graduate Catalog. All petitions must be approved no later than the semester preceding graduation. You will need to bring your Thesis Approval Form signed by your committee to your exit interview to be signed by Dr. You should only submit one final signature page for approval. This is the final location of the signature page it will not be returned to you. No results of the review are reported to the Graduate Wnnouncement however, what is revealed should be reviewed by you, your advisor, and your committee.

Thesis & Dissertation Announcements – Physics
You must defend by the deadline stated on the academic calendar. How do I form my thesis or dissertation advisory committee? Students should complete the word document with the proper information, then just cut from this document and paste into the appropriate fields during submission.
Intents to graduate should be filed online no later than the last day of registration for the semester of graduation.

Graduate students writing a thesis or dissertation and who are graduating within the next two semesters should review all Thesis and Dissertation Policies located here. We have uploaded the presentation here that was offered during orientation.
You must also provide contact information so that you can be called to pick up your signed form. Students who require a follow-up format review should re-submit drafts to the Thesis and Dissertation Office at least a week in advance of the final submission deadline to allow time for review and required changes.
You will not graduate if you do not defend by the deadline. Please use this checklist to make certain that you fulfill all admission requirements and send your application materials to the correct place for your program of interest.
