There were essay submited to the 25 VFW Posts in District 19 this year and Sydney’s essay was selcted 3rd overall.

patriots pen Archives – VFW Post and Auxiliary
Editor January 4, 0 Comments. District 1 Commander Don Wischman visited our July meeting to present the post with award certificates for accomplishments during the year. Contestants will be judged on the basis of their essay alone and are not required to present the essay orally.
